For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2
Just as we have physical laws, we equally have spiritual laws. From all indications, man is more comfortable with physical laws, but tends to ignore spiritual laws. Meanwhile, spiritual laws are just as important as physical laws. Newton's law of universal gravitation is a typical example of a physical law. Again, have you ever wondered why people die – death is the outcome of the (spiritual law) law of sin and death. The Bible refers to in Romans 6:23 as the wages of sin is death.
The good news is, when Jesus died on the cross to pay for the sins of the world, a new spiritual law came into existence. That law is the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. This new law in Christ Jesus sets us free from the law of sin and of death when we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
The real question here is; if you should die today and God were to give you justice for all your personal sins, where will you spend eternity? I encourage you to think about what you have just read, repent from your sins, and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, so you can be saved from eternal damnation.
If you would like to accept Jesus Christ into your heart, please kindly say the following prayers and confession and mean it in your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I believe you died for me and that God raised you from the dead. Please forgive all my sins. I choose to turn away from them now and I ask you to come into my heart and life as my Lord and Saviour.”
